This week we received confirmation that with our help a Football Foundation grant of £8,250 has been secured. The award covers 50% of the cost of a critically important new tractor plus mower attachment for Blurton Ladsandads a major local youth football organisation.
It will allow them to care for their large playing field at a reduced cost and deliver higher pitch quality. This will cut operating costs meaning local young people can continue to use football at a really low-cost. The new tractor/mower will also benefit several hard-working volunteers, cutting the time needed to get pitches ready for use.
Benefiting Blurton, one of the most deprived areas of Stoke-on-Trent, the grant will really help the organisations sustainability.
The Football Foundations excellent small grants programme gives grants of up to £10,000 for a variety of football projects. Most footballing organisations can apply for help with coaching costs, new equipment, pitch improvements and all sorts of other things. When you need help with that critical bid we have the experience and ability to help so get in touch!
